The title might remind you as a prelude to a mid-90s Family Drama. Indeed golden days of childhood those were for a majority of us. And while we grew up without even realizing how time went by we started to feel the heat, dust, pain, despair, anxiety and of course work pressure.

created an instrument of finding at least a temporary solace. Deka does justice to the universal truth “the pen is mightier than a sword” Even to a person like me who is not so actively related with the art of writing and expressions the lucid extracts one can derive from the book compelled me to go back down the memory lane and question myself about the reason behind all that hankering after materiality when all is not well back home. The best part of the creation is that every story has a human resemblance and draws a halo around one’s imagination enabling him/her to see the world through the lenses of what the book is exactly trying to say. In shorter words, in many stories, I could feel as if my own story is being told to the masses. As a person who is in an endeavor to earn a name in the chambers of corporate recognition, the story Nine to five, memories of loss suddenly gets the better of me and propels me to a world of eternal comfort and luxury but also with a substantial amount of self-introspection. “Time flies” as the saying goes and with it, the laughter of yesteryears also keeps on receding, still nonetheless words inked by the pen of my closest friend allows all of the readers to understand the complex nature of life and also reminds us of responsibilities, duties, and compulsions
