Yet another major incident of vandalisation, a bust of right wing nationalist Bharatiya Jana Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mukherjee was seriously damaged in kolkata chittaranjan das park inside Kalighat Crematorium on today March 7th, Wednesday morning.
Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was born on 22 July 1901, Calcutta, Bengal Presidency, British India and he died on 23 June 1953. He is the Minister for Industry and Supply in Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru’s cabinet. He was the president of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha from 1943 to 1946.
