I’m a proud Brown girl!

“Forget Snow White say hello to chocolate brown, I’ll write my own fairy tale!” – Aranya Johar

Why don’t you make over before stepping out of your house? Why don’t you take up facials? Why don’t you think before approaching someone, because, your skin colour will make it difficult for you to break all stumbling blocks!

I’m tired of listening to those orthodoxy words, which kills many ambitious souls. This society with heinous eyes, is ready to trap the flying bird, to peel off its skin. Is it a mistake to be sprouted out as person with dark skin?

It’s totally depressing to get the reality that only fair skinned people are given opportunities, they are ruling this material world. If a person’s skin colour is going to determine their future then why do we, ‘the brown skinned people’ want to defeat those shambles.

‘A brown girl or guy want to put double the efforts than a fair skinned bog-standard person.’

Selfies are for those who looks bright, and not for you, Ms. Dark lady!!!

Isn’t it bad about our society, that they think dark people are clandestine. If a skin colour is going to decide who am I going to be, then why get tired with these fiascos. Why should I strain my brain, to bring out my talent? Why should I voice up against other discriminations, if I’m not considered? Why? Why? Why?

Each day after waking up I ponder over those incidents; Those bad days — I got trolled for my skin colour. Everytime, I sob contemplating over my colour complexity. We dark skinned people, are literally tired of these vine words, of this atrocious society. Enough is enough! Let me stop weeping! You too!

If you don’t admire your skin colour, then how can you expect others to love it! Come out of this zone! You should not howl anymore!

We don’t want to become prey to those orthodoxy conditions. Let us prove that it is not so easy to catch this bird. You bring out the  audacious warrior in you. Wake up the indefatigable explorer. No one is born with beauty, because the true beauty doesn’t lie on your skin colour, but on your uniqueness and the way this world sees it.

Be ready for the transformation! You accept that your pulchritude is worth admiring. Your  aureole must glisten brightly. Then your skin colour will also.

No one is going to talk about your colour once you reach the peak with shining feathers. Never fall prey to dissentient comments. Now look at the mirror, you look beautiful. I admire you. Your beauty lies in your darkness. Be ready to face shambles and to enjoy the felicities.

”The skin colour is not going to determine the beauty, but the stalwart worker in you is going to!”
