By YKA Staff:
Yet another Eid, yet another Bhai release. Salman Khan starrer “Sultan” follows the life of wrestler Sultan Ali Khan (Salman), a small town wrestler in Haryana, who achieves global fame winning bouts at major sporting events, with a love story, of course.
The film (surprise, surprise!) has released to packed first-day-first-show theatres, and an equally overwhelming response on Twitter.
These reviews of the film clearly show that no matter what, Bhai is Bhai, and no hit-and-run case, or irresponsible and insensitive remarks on rape will ever overpower the crowd-pulling magic that is Salman Khan.
First day full shows – evidently!

Too much fighting?
The pro take down fight sequences are predictable and drawn out. Some of them could have been cut down. #sultan @DMmovies

“Cheesy and cliched dialogues”
Tepid love story, too many songs in first half and cheesy & cliched dialogues are some of the drawbacks of SULTAN..

For once, KRK has something positive to say.

This critic is surprised (in a good way).
Interval at #Sultan screening. Can't believe it's been written and directed by the guy who made Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Gunday.

More romance, less wrestling?
Jug ghumya song on ! Stage was set for a fight but Yahaan toh ishq is on full swing . #sultan better wake up from its slumber ! @TheQuint

#Sultan seems to be a love story till the interval. @abiradhar asks 'wrestling kab shuru hogi bhai'? https://t.co/truTvl6yaS
