By YKA Staff:
If one SRK wasn’t enough, now you got two (we know the fans aren’t complaining, getit getit?!).
Now out, ‘Fan’ is the story of young Gaurav (played by Shahrukh Khan), a ‘fan’ obsessed with the superstar Aryan Khan (no surprise here, played by SRK again) who heads to Mumbai to meet his idol, but when he doesn’t get to, things begin to take an ugly turn.
There is something intriguing about having Shahrukh play his own fan, which is why the movie’s trailer had film buffs in a flutter over what it would be like. Finally, the film released in theaters today (15th April) and this is what those who caught the first day, first show had to tweet about it:
Neither here, neither there, but clearly SRK gets a thumbs-up:
#Fan impressive first half but fails flat in 2nd half . SRK performance is terrific . Our rating 2.75/5. #FirstDayFANShow

Have to say, Twitterati mostly in the film’s favor:
I cannot even express how amazing @iamsrk is as Gaurav Chandna in #FAN . What a superbly nuanced & complex act. Kudos Maneesh Sharma !
