Eve Ensler is a globally renowned playwright who is best known for ‘The Vagina Monologues‘. The play recounts tender, funny, gripping and horrifying stories she gathered from hundreds of women about their bodies, their sexual experiences, and yes, their vaginas. She has appeared in a lot of TED talks, and has travelled the world for ‘V-Day’, a global activist movement to stop violence against women and girls.
Here, she talks about a very pertinent issue that affects most of us. She explains how we are increasingly becoming obsessed with an illusory sense of security, and how that has shut us down. She explores our modern craving for security — and why it makes us less secure. Watch the video for yourself and tell us what you think!
