“There is no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people.”
As bombs and missiles continue to drown the voices of human sufferings and exterminate those who have nothing to do with the violence but just happened to be in the region of conflict, there are those who hold on to hope and wonder if peace will prevail.
The violence between Israel and Gaza has only escalated since the violence first sparked off. Hundreds of people have already died on both sides of the war. Gaza’s horror can only be imagined as the densely packed strip receives shells after shells, till late into the night.
16-year-old Farah Gazan has taken to Twitter to relay the live sequences of events around her neighbourhood. She shares details about the bombings that go on till late in the night and reveals her horror whenever she hears loud noises.
These tweets reveal the worst face of the war. To prove ourselves right, are we taking it to the point that there is no one left?
