Waves, the Annual Cultural Fest of BITS Pilani, K.K. Birla Goa Campus, will present its 2011 edition from 3rd to 5th November! Since its inception in 2005, it has gone to become one of the biggest and highly anticipated cult-fest in the region.

Last Year, Waves saw a sea of participants from across the nation participating in its 40 events, spanning the fields of art, literature, dance, music and dramatics; and the events being judged by celebrities and famed critics from across the country.
The participants were also given a chance to learn, explore and enhance their skills, with a number of professionally conducted creative workshops ranging from dance, ventriloquism and origami to photography, palmistry and 3D-siporex art.
The special nights, being one of the main USP of Waves has seen splendid performances by acclaimed artists from across the country. Well known artists like K.K. and Shafaqat Amanat Ali and rock bands like Parikrama, Blackstratblues and Thermal And A Quarter have already swayed their audience during Waves.
This year, Waves 2011, with the theme of Fusion – Pure Milavat, is going to be organized on an even larger scale, with ongoing talks of international performances, more variety of exotic and professional workshops, and acclaimed creative studios, celebrities and experts in line to judge the growing number of events. Waves, this year also promises to come alive with a host of informals, exhibitions and stalls, for about anyone in the fest looking to have a fun time.
